Sensei Karl Thornton 6th Dan
Karl is the founder of KI-Rin Karate and our chief instructor.
He has been a member of the English Karate team and has represented England at National, European and World championship level.
Karl is immensely proud of his past and present students.
Sensei Mark Richardson 5th Dan
Mark is a 5th Dan black belt with over 25 years
martial Arts experience. He is a former England international who has
represented his country in 3 World Championships and 2 European
Championships picking up a World Silver and Bronze medal in his
travels. He has also studied in Krav Maga, jujitsu and Western Boxing.
Mark also is a qualified Personal Trainer, Circuit and Boxercise
instructor.
Sensei Dave Clarkson 4th Dan
Dave is an experienced instructor in both Wado Ryu karate and Shoroki karate . Dave has competition experience in both Kata and Kumite and is no stranger to collecting trophies.
Sensei Adrian Close 3rd Dan
Adrian has over 20 years experience in Wado ryu Karate, teaching both junior and adult students for the past 7 years.
Experience in Kata and Kumite at club level. He is extremely proud of and take's great pleasure in assisting students to achieve their goal's.
Sensei Steve Grimshaw 2nd Dan
Steve has trained in Shukokai karate then in Wado-Ryu and is proud to have achieved the grade of 2nd Dan under the instruction of Sensei Karl.
He has also competed in kata and kumite at national level.
He also trains in Okinawan Kobudo (tradtional Wepons).
